Appleton Air Sports ⁄ Greg Poe Air Shows
Steve Appleton, CEO of Micron Technology, and Greg Poe, one of the World's greatest Stunt pilots, teamed up to offer their services to the event industry.
Project: To design and fabricate an island display that resembles an aircraft hanger with a pilot's bar atmosphere in the center. Feature old aeronautic photos and collectibles throughout the display and include a game area.
Solution: A custom booth designed to resemble a airplane hanger. Old paneling, cepatone pictures, a U shaped bar, and a neon sign all add to the themed look. Two video games, a jute box, and airplane artifacts were used to complete the atmosphere.
Results: This exhibit was the main attraction at the tradeshow. People gathered and stayed at the bar section while business was being conducted. Promoters of the show stated that other exhibitors wanted to know the location of this exhibit so they could sign-up for a space directly adjacent.
